Thames Navigation User Forum

I think it's a pity that the EA have not offered the TMBA representation on that forum. Not least because I am only a member of the TMBA and no other boating association or club. So, despite being possibly one of the most frequent users of a boat on the non tidal Thames, (at least once per week, all year), the association which best serves my interests has no formal voice to the EA.

It all seems rather peculiar.

moxon once a week, what even if its raining, and the temperatures dropped right down, are you mad ?

Have you seen my wife?

NO, WAIT, she is lovely. Only joking! And I suspect you are taking the P too.

But I do notice that many boats that never appear to move.

What reason was given for the TMBA not being allowed a seat at the table and what can be done to rectify this. ?

Full details of the issues and efforts made to obtain recognition have been emailed directly to all TMBA members.

Much as I appreciate the not inconsiderable support shown here, this forum is not the right place for me to discuss TMBA business which is addressed through our own website and directly with our members.

Hopefully, as membership of the TMBA increases, you will be welcomed to represent a sector of river users which IMHO currently has no proper voice.
