Saw a Landrover today with this written on it. Google has let me down. What and where is it?

Thames Gateway is the name of the new container port being built on the Thames by the old Shellhaven site. Presume they run their own rescue boat to fish out any of the workforce should they fall in.

Thames Gateway is the whole river and its environs from the East End to Thurrock/Dartford. The words Inshore Rescue seemed a bit boaty rather than industrial.

I worked on one of the 'waterfront' developments adjacent to Ipswich wet dock, we had an inflatable dinghy which was ready to rescue anybody unfortunate to fall into the water. Sadly it was stolen a couple of months later and never replaced.

Well, sounds like one of the private volunteer 'lifeboat' services then.
