Thames Forum Meet ?

Will TT-WO be going?:)

Every time I have met somebody as a result of a forum get together, the result has usually been positive. You usually have a vision of a particular poster which turns out to be totally opposite to the chap/lady you end up shaking hands with.
Anybody who feels strongly enough about a subject to come on here and put his point,is somebody worth holding a conversation with.
The world is full of dull people, boating usually attracts interesting ones.:)

The chances of me being able to come would decrease dramatically if it's upriver from, say Cliveden. Otherwise it would be a matter of building a "proper cruise" around it, if dates were to happen to fit in with the myriad constraints of Work, School and Family life!

I don't think I fancy coming by car somehow.

We have suggested a rally at Byron's place - and we know he loves having boats at the end of the garden - but your response was quite a general concern regarding distance so we have settled for Windsor for last two where both MDL and the WYC were very supportive and hospitable. Managed about 20 boats in 2011.
Could also consider Penton Hook where I believe PHYC could also be approached to host us.
Usually early September so will need to get organising if we are to do it this year.
