Thames flowing quickly again

Having seen the river calm down over recent weeks I was surprised to see today that there is a strong stream again. At Twickenham the incoming tide had very little obvious effect in stemming the floodwater.

With the heavy and persistent rain forecast for tomorrow we may well see fairly lively conditions in the next few days.

Probably worth checking your mooring if you haven't been near your boat for a while.
