Thames Festival

Sounds like fun but we are hoping to go the the Deben although weather may be iffy?

As an aside I have heard mention at the Yacht Club that St Kat's has had a change of management and that all the fees have gone up hugely since we were there in June, any truth in this does anybody know?

We were in St Kats over the summer hol August 17th. We are 10m and they charged £4 per metre. With electricty £45 per night.
Their website is up to date. 3 nights and over £120 was a bit of a crunch but the location was fantastic.

Their weekly rate is much better.

We were there in June in a 9m boat. Total charge including electricity for 8 nights was £211, this is about £26 per night, not bad for central London?

I can't quite work out how they charged us though as using the figures from the website for 1 week plus one day seems to come out more whichever way I calculate it. Perhaps they undercharged us. :D

A good weekend was had by all and the mad participants voted Pyro and co as "best dressed crew"?!

As usual, my photos of the event are on FlickR (but lacking any self-portraits, obviously):

Feel free to pass on the link to anyone whomight be interested. I'm particularly amused by the shots of Sean McMillan concentrating very hard whilst he demonstrated the manoeuvrability of his Spirit yacht. Flight of Ufford also nearly won the Je Ne Sais Quoi so he went home a happy man.

We were lucky enough to be berthed next to Classic Boat's "restoration of the year", Concorde based in Pyefleet.

Well done Ian for organising it all again.

we went as a "Club Cruise" & were charged £19 a night. That was a very good deal indeed

Great pictures. Didn't Dorothy win and flight come second?
It was our first time there with a boat (we locked in next to you on friday). Had a fantastic weekend.
