Just had phone call from one of our club members.
One of the other club members has unfortunately had to return home by road in a hurry due to health problems and a "relief " crew has been mustered to bring his boat back.
Due to temp crew not knowing boat etc another boat (the big Cat) has volunteered to stay with the smaller slower boat boat for the entire journey.
Have recommended that they both are at the Richmond Barrier as it lifts and punch the tide for two hours in order to use rest of tide to get back down to Southend at LW.
Question.I think that neither boat will have airdraft problems at Hammersmith as tides are bit rubbish, tide will be ebbing by time they get there with no flybridge on either boat?
All and any comments welcome. They are coming out tomorrow.
