Thames Ditton Marina have had a broken diesel pump for some time and the owners are still pondering wether it's worth fixing it or not. So I'm sad to say that it looks like we've lost another resource down this end of the river.

Very bad business acumen if this be the case. ANY oil company will fix or even install a new one on condition you agree to sell their oil for a given period.

Apparently the rules are very tight on securing fuel. A lot of suppliers are beginning to think its not worth it. Petrol is worse. I'm based in Chiswick and if I want to fill up on the water the closest option is Sheperton Marina which is 3 to 3.5 hours away! They are also charging £1.65 a litre. Only option is Mr Gerry Can...

Mmmm not quite, Diesel at Shepperton Marina is £113.49 per litre 60/40 split, easy access fuel pontoon and a smiley face in the well stocked Chandlery.

Its worth noting though that if Thames Ditton stops selling diesel then Shepperton is the last diesel before the tideway, (I always used to wait to get to Thames Ditton when heading downhill ) !!!
