Sadly, the response to this year’s survey is well down on last year and may be insufficient to provide meaningful year on year comparison.

Might I suggest that you make fewer of the fields compulsory?
That way people who are not "pure owners" would have the opportunity to add to your survey. Particularly, perhaps, commercial operators.
