The lockkeepers were handing out quiz cards at a couple of locks on Saturday. In return for completing the quiz we were give a bag of goodies containing the quiz answers, various leaflets about pollution, a bottle of washing-up liquid and and oil absorber.

Of course, I had to wind up my mates who came down this evening from Sunbury, or thereabouts, in Sanfiona and didn't get a sniff of a goody bag.

Mark was too busy getting the giant tall houseboat under the footbridge. I did sell him some tug tolls though.

Me too but considering how much he has spent on the re-build, it has to look a bit special.

I'm glad that he still regards it as a workboat and is fairly sanguine when it gets damaged.

Another nice one is 'Tough One' that has just been finished , i'm meant to be going on a ride up to Dennets with Happy Bob in it next week if i can find time.

I haven't been out in Tough One yet but I gather that it could do with some engine insulation. Lovely boat though.

I'm not talking to Bob! I was out drinking with him last night and he forced me to get very drunk and then had the temerity to look fresh as a daisy while walking his dog this morning.
