What about a proper iPad version? iPhone is all very well but far too delicate to actually get out at sea in anger!

This April, I will sail from Majorca to the South of France via Roses Spain then into Italy, eventually wintering in Corsica for winter 2012/2013.

The app works without a connection, if you finish a trip without a connection it will store it up. When you next have connection you then need to go into the app and tap 'start trip'

You should be able to put the app on your iPad although it won't look great. Just wanted to get a first version out to get people testing and feeding back..
