I'm in a state of shock! Having said we must be mad to think we might be able to get on the newly renovated mooring at Tesco at 2pm on Saturday...... not only did we manage it, we were the only boat there. I had to come back to the boat and have a lay down in a darkened room. And to top that, Yesterday at 3 only 2 boats there. Of course the usual rubbish was close by, some sporting their newly acquired stickers from the EA. Being worn as a badge of honour, like a leg tag. Couldn't see any signage about time limits etc either.
Surely this can't last. Looking forward to hearing updates when the fleet return from Ashmount.

Good news; have they fully completed the renovations now? Surprised there's no boards with time limits.
Probably have been dumped in the hedge.
It would be great if everybody (meaning all boaters) respected the unwritten practice is that it's a 'shopping stop'.
Time was that the 'residents' kept to the tree covered bits either side of the boardwalk and everybody was happy.

Moored their about 1130 today for a shopping stop. No problems mooring at all and boats were moving on after shopping.

It does see to good to be true but long may it continue

The upstream end is not yet finished and is closed off (no decking). Otherwise all good, as others have reported.
