Terrible news today

Rob Davis one of JJs Yardies was tragically killed today in an RTA in the Wherstead Rd Ipswich on his way to work.
it is reported a van pulled-out into his path
the yard is in total shock.
Rob leaves a Wife & 2 young children, its all very sad

I didn't know him but this is very sad. Tragic for his family and a loss to his workmates and friends. Makes you think.

Yes terrible news, second death this week Jan died on Sunday although he had recently left the yard it is doubly sad.

John Jonas ( JJ ) is the marina manager & Rob was his No1.
a great guy & very helpful to me if i had any prob

Yes, as a Foxs Bertholder for 13 odd years, you get to know the folks that work on site as a sort of extended family. There was a sense of numbness and shock yesterday morning.
