Tender with outboard on motorboat

My wife and I owned a Jeanneau Prestige 32 for many years. We had a tender on snap davits, which was a very practical way of transporting and launching it. We are now down-sizing to something around 25-27 ft and while there are inboard options, many boats of this length have an outboard or two. I am interested in people's experience of carrying and using a tender with an outboard 'blocking' the bathing platform. I suppose you can carry one inflated in the aft cockpit and lob it over the side when needed, but is there a better way? For us, the pleasure in boating is to be able to explore and a tender is a must. I don't want to foreclose options of a motor boat with an outboard, but am scratching my head as to how the tender fits into the mix. Thank you!

If your downsized boat is still a hardtop model, you can have the tender strapped on the roof and the small outboard mounted on a stern bracket or lying in storage under deck.

What I did was go go for weight reduction. Starting with the tender, I got a 3D tender, the difference in weight it amazing. I kept that in the lazaret and used a good battery electric pump, you need high pressure to make the tender floor solid. For the motor I used a Honda 2.3hp and I put a single davit on the swim platform so I could lower the outboard onto the tender already in the water. Since then I ditched the Honda and davit and went for the far more convenient but way more expensive Torqeedo. The Torqeedo can be broken down into three pieces so is very easy to man handle and clean enough to store in the cabin. There really is no easy way to put a tender on a small boat everything will be a compromise

This is a quandary I have also.

I have a 27ft MOBO with a swim platform, but if I put davits on, the dinghy will swamp access to the stern..

I've bought a 200cm dinghy to have a smaller size, but it is still a beast when in its bag. I've purchased a high speed pump so will have to see what its like inflating and deflating each time!

Other issue is my outboard - Suzuki 2.5hp. There is nowhere to store it, so I am considering getting a bracket on the bow and popping it up there! can't see anywhere else for it to go!

The main problem comes when Med mooring i.e. stern first. What I see here is boats come in nose first (like an outboard powered boat) and people have a small boarding ladder on the bow (this is sometimes home made). That solves the problem of docking, when at anchor the dinghy is put in the water. That only leaves access to the stern when under way, I guess very high davits will allow some access but that's a hard one especially if it blocks visibility to the rear.
As for storing an outboard, without sounding like a Torqeedo salesman, but see my above post
