tender news

yesterday i was given , for free , the original clinker tender to my yacht. i've known of its existance for a few years .
it's about 10 ft log and shaped like a miniture whaler.
had a rudder and was rigged orignally.
needs some work , next project , all those gifts to the sea gods/esses have paid off !

got use of digital camera, taken pic's , next step work out how to put onto computer !
would you hazard a guess at what rig the tender would have had ? gunter perhaps ? would like to restore to orignal.

Hi, your likely right with gunter rig quite common for a boat of that vintage. Looking forward to pic's.

Yeah, I reckon gunter sounds about right, a nice convenient little rig for fun around the anchorage.

Cocky is really flying in that pic, with GRJ at the helm. Most impressive. Looking forward to seeing the pics of both the tender and Olga. They might give us more clues as to the original rig.
