Having dismissed a Williams jet rib to go in the back of my Targa 47 i have a short list of the following tenders all around 2.7 metres and intend to put a
9.9hp on the back to make sure it will plane.

Ribeye 280 with aluminium hull

AB Lummina 9 with aluminium hull

Walker Bay Genesis 270 with composite floor

All three seem good for the job , just got to make a final choice so any comments/thoughts greatly received

Cheers

We bought an AB Lumina 3.1m with ally hull last year. An excellent bit of kit. Very well made and remarkably light for its size. We have previous experience of AB when we chartered/sailed in the BVI (it was the yacht tender) and we were impressed then. We have a 15hp Mercury two stroke (same block as the 10hp), which is good. We had a Mercury 10hp on our last RIBs (Valiant 3m with GRP hull and Honwave 2.7m air deck) and it was up to the job.

For what it is worth I would say the AB out from the competition you have listed :)
