Tender Carrying.. (No Davits)

Another snap davit supporter. The tender is reasonably stable when attached for removing/replacing outboard although yours will be heavy. I have seen a device that keeps the outboard vertical when the tender is on its side.

Snap Davits do seem a handy option. I've just not quite worked out what i'm going to do with my 10hp (9.9) 2-stroke outboard. Maybe I can lash that to the bathing platform somewhere too. Poor thing.

Fit a mounting to the transom so that you can fit and remove the outboard on the dinghy whilst standing on the bathing platform. Various types are available such as these.

On a previous boat we had one made by a company a friend worked for - basically bent stainless (not polished because they didn’t do that). At the time we had a Mercury 2-stroke 10hp outboard that I lifted on and off just fine - a little heavy but doable.
