Hi - I'm planning to sail up from Brightlingsea to Lowestoft later this week, and wondering what the best value options are if I had to leave the boat (28ft Twister) there for about 10 days?
Any advice gratefully received!
Thanks,
Crisp

At this time of year, you should be spoilt for choice as most of the berths normally occupies are likely to have their allocated users away for their summer cruising.

The easiest to get to is the Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club, right next to the harbour entrance. Might be more expensive than anywhere else in Lowestoft, though. Very convienent for the town centre with a nice bar & restaurant.
Going through the bridge (opening at specific times for leisure craft) there are a few more, such as the Beacon Marina (run by ABP, the same company as the harbour), Lowestoft Marina (more of a boat yard than a marina, IMO} or there's my personal recommendation of Lowestoft Cruising Club - but I'm rather bias, admittedly (see my sig).

*Edit* The Club website also has information on bridge opening times, radio frequencies, tidal & weather info as well as local notices to mariners.
