Need some assistance please.

Some time ago I saw a bloke with a couple of 'eyes' that attach under the pontoon teak slats and provide a metal loop that you can attach a line to.

When visiting other marinas I sometimes find that the mooring cleats postion are not ideal for my boat and a couple of these would help on many occassions. Would not take a lot of weight but would for example keep the stern in and allow step off the swim platform if pushed by 90degree wind or current in the cases where the stern line is too long.

I'm sure they come from the US but i cannot hunt 'em down.

Help??

Thats a clever idea...

clever idea but I've never really needed one on all the different boats and marina's i've been on/in... if you're having trouble keeping the stern in have you ever tried using the outside stern cleat... it sometimes holds the stern in a lot better and removes the trip hazard for passengers... temp cleat thingy still a clever idea though!.. cheers Iain
