Temperature Sensor Volvo Penta MD2020

Hello All,

I have a question and hope you can help me, I am trying to understand where the temperature sensor in my Volvo Penta MD2020. I am asking the sensor which creates the alarm, because I guess it is not working properly. I have checked the volvo parts web but there it is not clear where to look. Can you please show me by fotos or any web links that can be useful?

Its on the top of engine,inches from the coolant pump.

Confirm you have found the correct sensor from the wiring colour. White/brown ( or white /brown and black for a two wire sensor on an engine with an isolated electrical system)
If you want to test it the contacts should close at 95C

I thought it was either on the side of the heat exchanger or the side of the engine just under the HE. one being the alarm sensor and the other for a temperature gauge if fitted.

I have just fitted a temperature gauge which is on the side of the heat exchanger. I have also changed thermostat and exhaust elbow, so I will be able to check the temperature now if alarm sensor works properly or not...
