Television on board

France apparently has changed its television transmitters to a digital signal and everyone who has a slightly older to set on board needs a box which costs about €50,--. I have installed the box and do get a signal again but constantly freezing and different from port to port. Does any one have similar experiences and possibly solutions.

Second question: does the same apply to Spain.

In the uk when they launched dtv there was a warning you needed a decent aerial. I suspect your flat marine antenna does not meet the grade.

Mae only get digi picture in France when using our booster on full whack; do you have one?

No, will buy one. The problem is that the televisions are wired in and the digi boxes need power. Need to find a way to get them wired into the inverters. Thanks for your help, regards Nick
