Television Aeriel

Hi - My question is I am replacing the broken t.v in my 2005 sea ray 315 and I am thinking that the Glowmex vhf stick aeriel isnt going to cut it.

Does anyone think that this aerial will be sufficient and would I need a booster?

I fitted a Shakespeare, it's compact and works well on a short pole on the pushpit rail.

That antenna has an amplifier in it so needs a 12v feed. But will not need an additional booster. olewill

I use this one in a poor reception area (Crinan and west coast). It is small and unobtrusive but does need the supplied amp wired in. Good thing is it is used for both TV and radio reception.

I always thought that with digital TV if you get a signal, even weak but good quality, the TV will work. If the quality is poor or you would be doing is making a poor quality signal stronger. An aerial at the top of the mast would improve things I think.
