teleflex rod end fitting - clarification

have had helpful comments in my other thread on this

but, i don't quite understand how the teleflex rod end fitting fits to the end of the existing internal rod from the Volvo Penta assistance, see image attached, can any one provide further details ?

If you send me an email or watsap no ill send you some pictures of a disassembled merc set up which is very similar. Ive tried loading pictures on here and always fail
 
The cable end is designed to fit an outboard with through tube connections this has become the industry’s standard
the outdrive will have a dummy tube and the rod goes through the tube and the steering arm has connection that the end of the tube fits into and secured with a clevis pin
this means that the hydraulic ram replicates the end of the cable and should have a nut similar to the cable retaining nut
