Teleflex morse adjustment

I have duel control morse levers in the main cabin and on the fly bridge, They are the pretty silver ones think they are teleflex morse. They work ok apart from a couple of niggles and wondered if these were related?
First problem is that one of them (port hand side only) will not stay forward when you give her some revs in neutral, you have to wedge something behind it or it springs back into tickover, I wondered if there is a friction adjustment somewhere?
Second problen is the same control (port hand engine) is stiffer to get back into neutral from forward, It goes eventually but you have to pull it a lot more than the other one. I have checked the linkages on the injector pump and they are not too tight and the engine revs low enough. The gearboxes are Z drives and mechanical from memory.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Have you checked the gear cable interchange mechanical linkage computer. A good scrub then a generous dose of PTFE spray lubricant might do the trick. Not sure where it is on the Corniche, but it was behind the stbd settee berth on the Turbo 36

If the cables need lubricating a visit to the local motorbike shop for a large cable lubricator clamp and can of lubricant spray. This allows the oil to be injected right into the cable, but you need a large fitting.

If you lift off the throttle cover there should be friction adjusters for each lever.

Thanks Trevor yes the friction adjusters I have spotted on an old diagram so should be easy, Gosh gear change linkages now thats going to take some finding I think there is a set up on a plate for each engine linking the fly and cabin morse cables! Could that be it or is it electronic?

All mechanical. You need to study it to work out how it works.
