Tek-Dek Glue choices

I'm going to be sticking some Tek-Dek down to cover the wooden cockpit floor panels on my boat.
The area in question is not exposed to the elements as it is inside the wheel shelter, but on occasions it does get wet.

I have limited funds for this project, so I picked the Tek-Dek up second hand on the for sale forum, a good start!

Do I absolutely have to buy the "official" Tek-Dek glue, or can I get away with this.... which sounds similar??

What is the closest thing to the glue they supply to stick the strips together??? Superglue??

Stelmax adhesive is the one used by Wilks for sticking strips together for their Dek-King. Saba Sealtack is then used to glue it down. Any polyurethane adhesive sealant will be OK for gluing down internally, such as builder's Sikaflex.

The Tek Dek flooring we have, was laid with "their" glue. This allows some adjustment, and is heat sensitive isomuch as a little heat helps curing, but a hot air gun allows easy removal to facilitate replacing any damaged strips. It goes a long way.
