Friday morning saw us setting off for Molfre. We arrived there in the afternoon but there was a bit of an uncomfortable swell and after a while and a brew we decided to move on a bit.

Lynas Point, a bit hazy.

Met Steve and son on Searush on the way

We eventually pulled in to Porth Wen, flat calm.

Me and Ted found time for a spot of relaxation

Ted was taken ill overnight but as he was comfortable we decided to carry on around the island

The Skerries, a bit misty but it was lifting by now

Excellent report(s).

Was Ted a New Labour supporter?

I'll only have Jim to spoil with my jar of doggie treats.

Porth Wen is quite eerie really and congrats of your circumcision, something I am yet to do and will do once I find a skipper with a bit more nerve.

I have never seen Providence with the washing up and the same goes for Sea Rush.

Cheers again for the pic's - here's the view from Sea Rush

Oh, & Major, that's not the washing, it's just a few smalls - there wasn't enough wind to justify the full suite, but we had sailed off the mooring at Porth Wen - and then had to put the donk on to keepup with the tide. . .

Sorry to hear about the loss of your old mate, Phil :-(

A great set of photos and report, I googled mapped the area and its quite a way around the block, well done.

I've finally worked out the MF mystery after seeing the name of the ship, and remembering Haydns' references to Aboriginal names and time spent in western Oz.

Hi Phil,

So sorry to hear your loss, we lost our ships dog last year to a stroke so I feel your pain.

At least you've got some great memories of the happy times together, keep yer chin up.

Regards Paul.

Sorry about Ted. He looks very happy in the picture where Phil's asleep with a glass about to fall out of his hand. You can't ask for more but it's always like the end of the world when they leave you for the last time.
