On the EA website it says for September Teddington lock is operating on tide. Slightly confusing because when you click the link it refers to August not September.

Perhaps because Hammersmith bridge is closed the operation of Teddington lock has been altered because nobody will be going very far at all and they don't want boats wandering down to the bridge to have a look then being unable to punch tide back up?
I imagine the majority of traffic through Teddington will be to and from Brentford with only a small amount of other local traffic.

Ha not quite. Joking aside I was about to pull the plug on a day out with five people that were travelling quite far !Fake News?
Not helped by the electrician on site saying he did not know !
All sorted over a quick call ( by a favour) and a tweet.
A jolly nice day it was too.
