Technodrive TMC40 Can you make it rotate anticlockwise?

From what i unterstand my prop turns anti clockwise but the new box turns clockwise, Can the Tmc40 be made to rotate anti clockwise?

It rotates both ways, depends which gear it is in...

The Technodrive has different forward/reverse gearing and, I'm sure I've read, warns against running reverse as the 'forward' gear.

Is there anyway to change this? or any gearbox would rotate anticlockwise and would fit in place of the tmc?

The PRM 150 will work happily in either direction.

I had the same problem when repowering. Owing to the offset P bracket and engine mounts I simply had to have a left handed prop. All the new engine and mechanical gearbox combos offered right handed ones. The hydraulic PRM was the answer.

Fairly certain TMC can't be changed... wouldn't it be cheaper to change the prop?

We are buying the perkins m30 but need a lefthand rotatinon box. What ratio would the prm 150 be, Is there any other box's

PRM 150 ratios: 1.53:1. 2.09:1 and 2.82:1

Why do you need a left hand prop? Only reason is if it is offset. If it is a normal centreline prop it does not matter which way it goes, just your propwalk will be different. Unless you are replacing a similar engine gearbox combination you will almost certainly need a new prop so get one to suit your new installation.
