..well, more question rather than problem really.
Gonna get me a Smart TV for the tub. Currently have a BT broadband wifi in the shed on my mooring, so I get the interweb when I'm at home, and I can use this as the router for Smart TV and wifi printer.
What I want to do, is still use the Smart TV and printer whilst away from base, so I know I'll need a new wifi hub to install in the boat to let them all talk.
Is there a way to get the new hub to use the BT box as an internet gateway only, otherwise I can see things getting comlicated as everything tries to connect to two hubs when at home.
So, everything routes through new box on boat, and new box on boat uses old box on land as internet gateway only.
I suppose I can just switch off the new hub and let everything work through the old one when I'm home, but I kinda like the idea of using a gateway and having a permanent set up?
Feasible?
Pointless?
Thanks
