Tech upgrade

Apologies if been covered.
I have 2012 tech Raymarine. So C120W chartplotter and 2 x ST60s. I also have mercury smart craft vessel view
I am looking to upgrade.
Is there a reason to change to 2 x i70s over and above getting an Axiom 7inch MFD to replace both and having split screen showing speed and depth which is all i think I currently use my ST60s for?
 
You can keep the ST60's and use an interface - if you have radar you will also need to upgrade to Quantum. I did this last year when Raymarine offered an upgrade package. Worth asking them.
 
Perfect yes was going to upgrade to Quantum wifi / wired
but no obvious reason then to buy i70s - either axiom 7 to replace both ST60s with ITC-5 or keep ST60s
 
You can sell all your old gear and it'll pay for a third of the upgrade (assuming it all works!). If you have space I would go for an Axiom 9+ (RV if you're vaguely thinking of adding sonar at any point). You can add an RMK-10 external keypad if you like buttons.
 
Perfect - RMK 10 is superb - okay - all good to know - price diff isnt crazy between 7 and 9 - ill measure tomorrow
 
for what its worth i found the additional real estate on the 9+ to be significantly worth the hassle of removing my helm and doing some cutting/fibreglassing to make it fit.
