He has just not bought the Van Lent on eBay for £9000.

Advertised as needing an immense amount of work and declared it had been submerged, was he right to miss out?

I know he could have resurrected it but at what cost?

I think he's wise. The seller only supplied one photo and none at all of the interior. He also says it's for "people with big pockets" and "do remember this is a big project and needs someone who knows what they are doing"......

Just out of interest

I looked at the feedback record of the original seller, 123 nicky, and there are a couple with clearly negative comments yet labelled as positive, and a 100% positive feedback record!
What's that all about?

Stupid eBay rules. A seller can't leave bad/negative feedback for a buyer so sellers leave positive feeback with bad comments. Crazy situation.
