The sealant around my toerail is a bit patchy. I assume the sealant was put under he teak before bolting down, how do I resell the edges without removing the toerail. Is there a sealant that will fillet the teak/gelcoat join and not fall off?

Use the deck caulking variety of Sikaflex and their primers .... in accordance with their guidelines on cleaning and priming of both the teak and the gelcoat. Using just the caulk is wasting money.

You may find that one of the caulking sealants will do the job. The problem is getting the surfaces of the old joint perfectly clean, otherwise the patch up will soon fall out. Apologies to Tradewind sailor, you pretty much said the same thing.
