In that case I bow to your superior knowledge and experience. After all, I wouldn't want to be offering anybody any help or advice on here, as I am obviosly not qualified to do so.

i use both Stanley Counter bores with the appropriate Plug cutters, down to a No 6 screw. that wayone only has a small pellet rather than a standard 1/2 inch.

I simply told you on what that opinion was founded on. Rest assured though, from now on, I will keep my opinions to myself. I am sure that you will be able to cope with most anything that anybody needs to know about boat maintainance and joinery techniques.

One last thing, I am not your "chappie" young or otherwise. I also think that you would be doing yourself a favour if you refrained from trying to put people in a one down position simply because their opinion differs from yours.
