Can anyone tell me where I can order some 18 mm teak & holly faced ply at a reasonable price?

I have been quoted some really silly prices for 8x4 sheets (£300+)

May have to resort to laminate flooring /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks in advance,

Andy

It is good stuff. I replaced all my saloon floor with the Robbins stuff. Of which an offcut has been in my garden for the past year, to this day it's remained perfect. I used 1/2" thick but the laminate type finish... if you were ever to meet my crew you would understand why!!

Now I did order it through Hawke House, but they wanted to charge me for delivery!! (I was collecting it). Of course I took issue with this and decided not to give them my business, apparently they had to get it in from Robbins so delivery was chargeable... even though i collected it, and it was supposed to be from stock!!

So I ordered it from Robbins in Bristol (2 full sheets), and received it the next day! Very pleased.

Had the boat on Hardway pontoon for a couple of days to do the work, was quite a struggle jigsawing with any accuracy on a couple of trestles balanced on a very rolly pontoon /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Jeeze! that was awful!!

Just bought some 6mm, which I had bonded to 6mm WBP ply for sub floors in my boat, but tat was from Pinmar in Barcelona, french supply I believe, much cheaper than 300 squids a sheet, more like 195 euros!
I would buy 6mm and get it bonded to 12mm WBP.
