Does anyone know a source for Teak faced marine ply that already has the grooves with Sekaflex already inserted ?(Anchor marine would be prefered)
My guess is that the builders do the grooving and filling which isnt a hard job but it would save a little time if i could buy it in .
Thanks in advance .
Jason .

Thanks , at a quick glance they are selling teak faced marine BS1088 without the caulking already there . Ill give them a call in the morning . Ive already heard good comments about Robbins .

Am busy replacing teak faced ply - delaminated due to poor bonding with the teak ! personnaly I would use proper teak planks or "something else"

On my boat, i used teak ply for my engine cover, and drew on the 'caulking' prior to varnishing with a black marker.

It looks good, and doesnt delaminate when the caulking gives up! Ok, its a bit of a bodge, but it seems to have worked! Best qualility pens required though, cheapo ones fade in the sun very qucikly!

Dont get me thinking about doing that ! Shes water tight at the moment and nearly hassle free . The ply is for a quote for someone .
A few pints sound good to me ill probably be heading down tonight .

Thanks for the link Essex boy , Robbins do sell the stuff i was after .

Shame i havent got a pic of it, it worked ok /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Only a engine cover though, would do it properly with larger areas /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Good! I'll be there! Unless this fog doesnt go away!

They should never have got rid of the Stena Germanica. Customised ferry to overcome crew change problems in the fog season.....unless there was fog in the field. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
