Teak decking/blinds/ and other soft furnishing..

My chum is desperate to fling more money at his Fairline 37 moored at Bray and has decided that he cannot live without the side decks being laid with teak,got to be be the real thing so no tacky poor person Tec Dek /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifstuff.
Any recommendations for local (or otherwise) company.

As his de facto personal shopping assistant would also like to ask has anybody tried fitted roller blinds to the big front windows in the saloon on their boat.

Ps.He has also managed to blow up his generator or summat with genuine smoke billowing from behind contol panel in main cabin ,so may also be looking for advice on local fixer v.soon.
Think that is about all (for the moment),all help welcome.

WOW! Teak decks not only will that cost him, it will takes ages to do. Afterwards he will be able to join that select few that have osmosis above the waterline. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I was in Lindon Lewis marine the other day and they had some solid teak in stock . Not sure if it was left overs or they are starting to supply it /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif His best bet is to call somewhere like Timbmet silverman and buy it direct . Honey suckle bottom /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif around guilford way should also be able to mill some up for him at a good price or failing all that i can chuck some through the spindle moulder for him for some beer tokens .

Sorry for delay in answering and thx for replies.
Been boating and worn out from pushing lock gates and winding paddles.

He is actually looking for somebody to supply and lay the teak and he definately is now looking for a electrical person to fix his genny and control panel.
He has also decided to get a new set of dark green covers made up.
