Has anyone recently had this done or attempted it themselves? It's about the only job I've not tried myself and a boat I'm looking at needs a new one. I know you can get plenty of man-made alternatives but I'm not really interested in those. The boat is an Aquador 25C - I vaguely recall getting a quote a number of years ago for a similar size boat and it was around £5k :disgust:.

Disco, Where is the boat based?

Just doing it on a Sweden 41. Over £3k for the Teak for the cockpit and coaming which is probably a third of the total area of the boat. That includes the caulk and adhesive too (12mm thick Teak)

Had an initial quote of £4.5k for panels made to measure in either 6mm or 9mm teak. Fitting would be another £1500 but I can do that myself. A lot of money given the boat is only worth £35k!
