tcm method for teak cleaning

I am about to follow the highly recommended tcm method for cleaning the teak deck. This is my first time!!!
However there is a patch where hydraulic oil has leaked on to the wood. Will the tcm method clean this?
If not - what is the suggested remedy, please?

I've heard of tlc, not tcm. is it expensive and well marketed?

Try using the renovator to the oil affected area first, then apply the cleaner.
Follow the dilution instructions, they are strong enough!

If it is a small area my method is Travelwash (gentle detergent) and a soft toothbrush (no ... not SWMBO's).

A thick layer of cat litter spread over the oil for a couple of days. Cover with plastic to protect from wind and rain.
