Been using my heater for 15 years and it is great but the flame failure device on my heater has been temperamental for some time now. Worked perfectly once the heater was going but kept tripping while lighting. The official spare part is super expensive but i bought this one http://bullfinch-gas.co.uk/spares/flame-failure-valve-thermocouple-and-locknuts-detail only a quarter of the official part. Fitted it and it workes perfectly with no unexpected tripping. The valve had the identical makers mark and number as the one i removed. Very easy job to fit.
