Taylor cooker pulsing

I bought a Taylor 030 cooker a few weeks ago and after sorting out a few small leaks, it worked perfectly, so I was very happy with the result. Especially since the fuel line ended up a bit long, a good 2,5 meters. However, coming back to the boat after three weeks something has changed, it now pulses a lot, I was even worried that the flame would die out at one point. I have read about the balancing jets and the gauze, I dont know if they are fitted or not, but since it worked so well at first I think there must be another reason.
I have not had the burners out yet, and I am hoping I don`t have to.
The paraffin oil I am using is the one made for lamps, and I read somwhere that the wax content is higher, it supposedly makes for a brighter flame, can it clog up the burners perhaps, and can that be the reason it pulses?
I will change the oil tomorrow and bring the result, but if any of the Taylor experts have any thoughts I would be very happy to hear them.

The purer the paraffin the better and that means without colourants too. Yes I believe that the wax content won't be beneficial in a Taylors cooker. Mine only pulses when the level in the fuel tank is low or about to runout.

Changing the fuel worked. I think. When I emptied the tank I had less than I thought, not half-full, more like 1.5 liters so maybe it just needed topping up?
Thank you for helpful tips!
I will stay away from the lamp-paraffin from now on :)
