Hi All,
I have a Tasman 20 (in NZ) that I need help with the pulley system for the keel. It was taken out before I got to it so I don't know how the system works to make the keel come up. The pulley system uses three pulleys on a piece of Stainless steel rod. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Wayne

Hello Wayne. I have seen your request for help on the boating forum. Now I also need help with a Tasman 20 keel. Did you get any info from your rerquest, or do you have some expertese here??
Thanking you, Kerrin

Hi Kerrin.
Sounds like you may be able to give me some advise on how you got the keel out ? I have a Tasman which was sunk in a flood a few years ago. I have been sailing it but have been unable to get the keel to go down. I have dropped it off the trailer found the keel is jammed solid with silt and spend a couple of hours with a hacksaw blade picking it out but still haven't got it to move yet, It is pretty rusted and I'm afraid the pivot bolt may be seized. An ideas?
