Has anybody on here ever had problems with the tender garage shuddering when it’s closing , it opens smoothly but with stop suddenly and bounce on closing . Only by using the switch to slightly open and then pressing close can it eventually shut . I’m not sure if this is an electrical or hydraulic issue . Many thanks in advance.

I think it's hydraulic. First, check there isn't too much friction/seizure in the hinges such that the door is slow to fall as the hydraulics try to make it fall. Second, fiddle with the throttle valve that will be on the hydraulic pack, just on the "down" solenoid valve. or fit one if there isn't one. Make the down speed slower and it will likely stop the juddering.

Definitely hydraulic, if its just the last bit that judders,it might be the piece of bathing platform attached to the door, our was the same , if this is catching it probably needs re aligning, very carefully loosen the hinges from inside the garage, then try to lever the platform extension to allow centralisation of the door ,only loosen the hinges with the door closed, its very heavy. you probably really need 2 or 3 people to do this safely
