Do you think it would be viable to do C'dA to Corsica in such a small boat?
For sure. Internet weather data is fantastic, and if you see the sea is calm then you go, because it's only 4 hours to Calvi. All my crossings have been flat calm becuase I just wait till it is
Tricky part is on a longer trip, when the westerlies might have arrived the day you want to come back to mainland. Then you can't cross. Waves on port bow would be too much. You have to find a bolthole for 4-5 days, and maybe fly back for a while till weahter settles. But that comment applies equally to a 50-er. It's just how it is down there. And it will be easier to find a bolthole berth for a 27er for 5 days than a 50er.
One thing that helps is to fit radar. Wind dies in evenings so if you can include the ability to cross 9pm-1am in your repertoire you are much less likely to get stranded. It's delightful at night anyway; shorts n T shirts still
Berthwise, and it's not my place to interfere, but would you fit in EME's?
