This is honestly not how it should be done.
It should feed into the panel by a double pole switch ( just like a generator ) that changes over from one to the other.
The inverter socket I assume is permanently live unless you fish around in the engine room and turn it off ?
its not a bad way.. it works well i think.. but yeah i could go down the route of double pole switch.. no the inverter wont be live. it has a remote which ive mounted on main rcd panel front connected via a Lan cable, so you turn it on and off there and has alot of leds on it telling you its on or off
before i go anywhere i need to look and turn on switches on this main panel as even the power relay switches for engines are here.. whole boat controlled from same place
