Has anyone had any horrible experiences using this bunch of losers?

Take it from the post you have then :-) - a mate of mine moored there - Assumeing you mean the one on the Thames, and had no problems, cheaper than the marinas and a nice little spot.

what's up

Peter

I could write a book about them, I moored there for 15years and left a year and a half ago to move into MDL.
The last straw was during the winter floods when the boat floated over the bank and bobbed up and down on the bollards (expensively constructed from old scaffold poles) and these chiselled a nice deep gash in the bottom of the boat. In the days before the currect jokers, they would always put planks out down ths sides to stop the boat floating over the bank, but the current crowd took three days to do this and by then the damage was done.
Other gripes were lack of water to float in! If it gets any shallower there you can walk out to the boat.
I could go on....
Sometimes the cheapest is not always the cheapest if you know what I mean.

Well I Thought it was me, same issue on depth, I was grounded for god knows how long, as in wasa not able to get down to see the boat, when I complained it was all my fault. now I am stuck and unable to move!!!

Yeah I remember discussing it with Heather and she always blames the EA for not dredging.
To be honest I tried and tried and gave up, boats just cost too much money to mess around with these jokers.
I pay more in MDL but I can get on and off any day of the year, 16feet of water under the boat, have my own electricity (not just the lucky few favourites) and an onsite engineer who is superb.

I also struggled to get work done on the boat. In the end I did most if it myself.

I have heard of some that left before the end of the contract and she did not force them to pay the rest of the year. I think if you complain enough you may get off.

Good Luck.
