Tankless water heater

Has anyone installed something like this over the sink on a boat? My current boat does not have a hot water tank and even though i rarely used it in my last boat apart from a lengthy winterizing process, i sometimes think that the ability to have a warm face wash could be nice.

they are designed for mains water you would have to check if they would run of a pump ,and while using it you would not be able to use anything else ,have you seen the under sing units that store some hot water ,I think bn q due them

screwfix do a redring 1.5 kw keeps 6ltr of hot water £68 trade at screw fix

Thanks for the comments, I do agree a smaller current hog could be nice.
I did find the under sink Redring 6L model on eBay, it looks promising and I may just try that.
My 135 liter tank has a pump and accumulator so I have decent pressure in the sinks.

I would make sure it’s gonna be safe , I am not convinced thus far !

Under the sink in a boat ,there’s an inevitability of it getting damp .Or above the sink via a leak above running on to it as the boat tips .
I know the dock shore power unit suppose to have a RCB , buts that’s shore to boat lead ?
This will be from your AC panel to the appliance .
Then there the thorny Q of “ marine “
What’s that mean ? In the context of safety ? —- Are those units ^^^ e-bay classed as “ Marine “ ? That’s the killer Q

MAIB have a lot of stuff on guys transferring land based house DIY skills that result in lethal combinations.
Like soldering copper pipes for heater exhausts - as one example .

I would ask a boat sparky to have a look and advise

I have one in our den and it is great, but in order to heat the water fast it does pull around 10 amps as mentioned. Not sure it is ideal for a boat.
