Tan coloured sails

You could get mistaken for a Drascombe or a Cornish Crabber

or more seriously if you have jib furling and the jib gets sun rot where it is left up but the main is still fine - you might have trouble matching the colour of a new sail to the old.

My staysail is pretty new, so am looking for a new main and genoa. Sounds interesting. Thanks for all comments.

If I e-mail a boat picture to someone, can they 'paint' the sails brown so I can see what it looks like? Don't have photshop yet.

I looked at a Sadler 34 with bright pink sails. I don't know where it finally ended up - has anyone seen it? (must be difficult to miss!).

Now, I hope this isn't going to turn into another anti Bav thread /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I like Tan sails, cos' they look better and therefore they go faster.

Red Dye is also more aerodynamic, scares off Seagulls and adds a Bling Bling factor to yer MAB.
