Hi. The tamd61’s weigh around 673kgs, if it helps you any. Also suspect that they throw out more power than the quoted figure. Strong machines.
Depending on your budget…my father has been contemplating selling his lovely P385. Been talking about it for about 5 years now, but never actually gone ahead and advertised it I’m sure. There won’t be a better one out there, I’d be sure. Last year’s survey was just incredible for it’s flattery. Thanks for all the input guys.
Update is after having a second more in depth viewing of the boat I found some worrying damage to the keel, the boat is on hard standing and has only been supported in two places which has caused the keel to badly crack where the supports are.
We are going to walk away from the purchase and look for something else.
We now know it will be much easier to find a boat with enough power already onboard.
Truth be told with our current Sealine being quite overpowered we really want something capable of reasonable speeds.
Just out of interest was this boat kept at Dornie?Depending on your budget…my father has been contemplating selling his lovely P385. Oh. Think I know where you mean. There may have been a similar boat there years ago perhaps. Came across a photo of one around there a while back.Just out of interest was this boat kept at Dornie?
