After a half century of wooden boats I am familiar with the techniques, have used some of them, and watched friends using the others. He is doing everything “properly”. Not a single short cut, so far.

The “primer” is red lead.

The project makes no rational sense. He could build a replica for much less effort. But, one has to applaud his dedication and I really hope it works out. Bung him a bit.

watched it from the beginning. really enjoy it. Hes a very skilled and dedicated person whome im sure will succeed. Hes been clever in creating regular films that in themselves are brilliantly put together. im sure the financial support from this will keep the project on track. will this run for years ?.
I also watch Erick, NBJS, Hes great fun to watch and again the films are brilliantly put together with stunning camera work.
