They put on a pretty impressive fireworks display at Hartlepool yacht club on Saturday night.

I'm kicking myself for missing it. I had intended to go, but 'things' intervened on saturday. My default was to go first thing this morning to watch them all depart Hartlepool, its just over an hour from here...but 'fings' happened, like I broke my glasses and I'm going away so I had to arrange to get them fixed PDQ.
Anyway i'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm in a huff...hmfff

Well just think yourself lucky you avoided the traffic jams - at sea as well as on the roads

And you avoided the pouring rain, very disappointed they did not return to Hartlepool in full sail. Waited for hours for that and only a few were in full fig. Had a good day though have decided to sail on one for my sixtieth birthday.SWMBO paying of course, she offered too.
