Havengore?

Just remembered when I was out on the boat Saturday (brrr!, and after clearing the snow and ice off the decks) I'm fairly sure I heard the coastguard saying the Havengore Bridge was closed until further notice. Not sure if this is a short or longer term thing.

Regarding the Havengore route , I was speaking to one of the bridge keepers yesterday , his boat is next to mine , he said both bridges are working subject to gunnery ops , the h'gore bridge is undergoing some "engineering improvements" so may be closed on the odd occasion .
He gave me the phone numbers and advised a quick call a couple of days before using either , also said that a tide of at least 5.5mtrs @ Southend would be needed for my draught of 1.1m ...
